Members of the Noaber Network and VitalHealth Software will be organizing the international ‘Connect for Impact’ conference about breakthrough innovations in Health and Care on the 14th and 15th of October 2014. The partners form a network which collectively aims to realize an impact on Health and Care through a shared focus. We want to share knowledge and experiences - from the inside out and from the outside in - by bringing our partners together. In other words: Connect for impact. Together with you, we will be discovering the crossovers between the past and the future and we will connect developments, ideas, people and organizations.

PROGRAM FOR OCTOBER, 14-15

 

The program will cover two days. We will focus on innovations and groundbreaking processes in general on the first day and we will concentrate on breakthrough innovations in Health and Care on the second day. 

Moderator Charles Groenhuijsen, a well-known journalist and author, will guide you through two days of top-ranking speakers and innovators. Become inspired by speakers including Jason Hwang, co-author of The Innovator's Prescription: A Disruption Solution for Health Care,  Ab Klink, former Dutch Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport, Steve Ommen and Nick LaRusso from the Mayo Clinic and other top-ranking, visionary speakers from various disciplines in The Netherlands and abroad. Take part in the sessions with different experts for more in-depth information and discussions on the subject matter.

The conference will be taking place on the ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate in Ede, the Netherlands.

Shuttle Service
Note: There is no parking at ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate during the conference. 

Below you will find a list of shuttle services during the conference Connect for Impact. Shuttle services are available from several hotels, the parking lot at ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate and to and from the concert. The fixed times are shown below. These times and the departure times of the shuttles during the day are also found at the registration desk at the conference site. 

Parking 
During the conference there are no parking possibilities at ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate. You can park at the 'Petrakerk' (Petra Church), address: Lunterseweg 25 in Ede. From here shuttles will transport you all day from and to ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate. Signs are placed to help you find the way to the parking. If you want to walk from the parking to the estate it is possible and it will take less than 15 minutes. If you come by taxi or with a private driver you can drive up to the driveway of ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate. The driveway is closed to all traffic during the conference, parking is not possible here. 

Accommodations 
Shuttles arrive in the morning and at the end of the day at the following hotels: Parkhotel Hugo de Vries, The Lunterse Boer, Reehorst. If you stay at one of these hotels, please make sure that you are ready at the main entrance of the hotel at the times below. To ensure timely arrival at the conference, the bus leaves at the time specified. After the conference on day 1, the bus will leave from Amersfoort, day 2 from ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate.

Station Ede-Wageningen 
The shuttle service that runs along the Reehorst after departure will drive the Reehorst along Station Ede-Wageningen. The bus is at 10:20 pm (Tuesday) and 9:20 pm (Wednesday) at the taxi stand at the Stationsweg. After the conference (At day 1 after the concert), the bus will drive past the station. 

Concert 
Do you join the concert on Tuesday night? Here, too, shuttles are arranged. At 18.00 the shuttles leave to the ‘St. Joris Kerk’ in Amersfoort. After the concert there are shuttles leaving to Ede at 21:00 (immediately after the concert) and at 22:00 (after the reception). The shuttles stop at the above hotels and parking at the ‘Petra Kerk’ (parking next to ‘Groot Zonneoord’ Estate).

We have selected two accommodation providers which we strongly recommend and where you can book a room at a special rate. The conference organisers offer a shuttle bus service to the conference from each accommodation.

1. ‘De Reehorst’ Hotel and Conference center
This comfortable hotel is situated close to the center of Ede and is easily and quickly accessible by train and from the motorway. All rooms have comfortable and excellent standard facilities. Please mention the ‘Connect for Impact’ conference when making your reservation and your room will be available at the special rate of € 79, - per night.

2. Parkhotel Hugo de Vries is situated in a villa from 1904, built in Jugendstil style, in the green village of Lunteren. The tastefully decorated guest rooms are all located on the ground floor and have a private bathroom. For more information please visit the website.
